Women of Marvel was released this week. My cards are popping up on ebay [link] along with lots of excellent cards by the other fantastic artists who worked on this set.

I stressed a lot over these since this was my first card set, and it is a big relief to finally complete the end of the process. I really wanted to do justice to characters I've followed since I was 13. Looking back, I really enjoyed myself, and I'm satisfied overall with the cards I was able to produce. 20/20 hindsight- there are some great Marvel characters that I missed (sorry Alpha Flight fans), but I did at least 1 card of all of my favorites. I believe that by doing all of these cards I learned more about the kind of art I want to produce as well as gained some drawing speed & confidence.

Now I have to get back to working my way through the rest of my Marvel Masterpieces 2008 cards.
Why did I think it was a good idea to volunteer to do 250 cards???
